Check out the latest goodies from design group Umbra. There are some really cool new photo frames such as Beleaf and Ripple.  Umbra has done something really interesting with the Vara photo frame. It used to be just 1 big frame but now it comes in two parts which gives a very unusual perspective.  Umbra has also introduced a really contemporary sensor soap pump called Otto that comes in white or nickel as well as a really great new cookbook stand called Pelica which apparently is also very usefull for when using your IPad.

For serveware there’s Cheeboo cheeseboard which comes with a knife set that slots into the board itself.  Furthermore there are some new products that are sure to delight such as ‘The Little Black Dress‘ which is a fantastic way of storing your necklaces and comes with 39 clear pockets for rings, earrings and bracelets.

For the bathroom there a 2 new shower caddies and a toilet roll holder and stand. For around the house there’s a new magnetter which is perfect for hanging your house keys and picking up your daily mail. The Illuzine rack is a novel but practical way of storing magazines and newpapers. Especially handy for when you don’t have a lot of room!

It began to become popular in Great Britain during the seventeenth century and by the eighteenth century it was common for all classes to exchange small gifts and notes of affection. The sending of ready-made cards was made popular by the Americans and is now one of the most common ways of celebrating Valentine’s Day.  An estimated one billion cards are sent each year.
